2007 Elgin July 4th
Parade
ETC entered a float into Elgin's annual
July 4th
parade. The float offered a
glimpse of the groups summer 2007 production, The
Fabulous Fable Factory. Some members of the cast of The
Fabulous Fable Factory are shown in the photo below just
before the start of the parade.
ECT Has Changed its Name
At the 2004
annual meeting the members of the Elgin Community Theatre were asked to approve a change to the groups name. The
new name is:
Elgin Theatre
Company
The new
name has been approved by a majority of the members of the board
of directors. The name change was also approved by a
vote of a majority of the members of the group. The name change
took place on July
1, 2005.
